In this role you will support this business by tracking and managing the fulfilment of IT service requests.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide timely and professional technical support to end-users.
  • Resolve technical issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including end-users, IT teams, and management, keeping them informed of incident status and resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with the business to implement effective solutions.
  • Support the delivery of existing IT projects, fostering collaboration between business and IT stakeholders
  • Advocate and ensure effective implementation of ITIL processes and principles.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes to deliver high-quality service to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Play a key role in supporting the IT Workplace Manager, handling various administrative tasks and take charge when the manager is unavailable to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise between different parts of the IT function acting as an intermediary, facilitating communication and collaboration among various teams or departments.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Demonstrated proficiency in a 1st/2nd line support environment, showcasing hands-on experience and a solid understanding of the intricacies involved.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical expertise in supporting Windows 10/11 Operating System(s), ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Proven track record in handling and supporting Microsoft Office and Office 365 Applications, including MS Teams, contributing to efficient and effective workplace solutions.
  • Competence and experience with ServiceNow or any other IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing system, reflecting a commitment to streamlined and organized issue resolution processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrates robust technical proficiency in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and other essential business applications.
