Our IT & Data Architecture Team are responsible for supporting and developing our Sales related systems. We have exciting plans to move these to cloud based technical solutions to enable us to better manage the complex product logistics across our international landscape.
You will play a key role in this transformation and help us shape the future of our IT landscape.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Some of the key activities for the role include:
- Responsibility for all technical tasks regarding development and maintenance of cloud-based technical services. This includes design, consulting, and maintenance
- Lead the design and architecture of cloud solutions and develop cloud migration strategies, optimizing system performance, and ensuring scalability and security
- Manage cloud infrastructure, with particular focus on cloud/cyber security and strategic implications and possibilities
- Support projects from a cloud architecture perspective, developing and implementing infrastructure and architecture standards
- Plan, design, and size technical cloud-based services
- Support change management and support with cloud service installations, specification, testing and service transition
- Monitor and recommend alternative technologies
- Assess technologies and architectures, more complex technical system requirements and bring a strategic view on suitability and feasibility
- Understand non-functional requirements and consult on technical fulfilment options
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Strong communication skills and track record of working collaboratively with diverse teams
- Extensive experience in developing and managing complex cloud environments, as well as knowledge of various cloud services and tools
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture patterns, deployment strategies, and best practices
- Proven, successful execution of cloud projects
- Strong architecture skills, understanding of IT infrastructure, and extensive knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
- TOGAF certification is an advantage
- Expertise in cloud security, compliance, and governance practices
- Preferably experience with cloud integration and containerization options (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of modern web technologies (e.g., SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST) and concepts (e.g. EAI, SOA, MVC, Microservices)
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#)
- Fluent written and spoken German with strong command of written and spoken English
