As the Project Support Officer within Enterprise IT, you will be supporting Project & Programme Managers with Project, MI and highlight reporting.

 

What You Will Do

In the role of Project Support Officer, you will play a crucial part in our financial management activities, ensuring the accuracy of monthly reporting through meticulous processing of invoices and the timely and precise generation of purchase orders. You’ll build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders, allowing seamless collaboration for project success.

Monitoring inboxes, you’ll proactively manage and distribute crucial information, raising key issues to the appropriate stakeholders within our projects. You’ll manage various administrative processes, aligned with defined procedures and standards, , ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.

You’ll be responsible for project documentation and controls, contributing to maintaining organised and accessible project information. Additionally, supporting Project Managers in developing project plans and tracking actions, risks, and issues in the RAID framework will be a key aspect of your role. You’ll also facilitate meetings, including arranging and recording minutes, assisting with Resource Management.

Your role extends to tracking and reporting on key project metrics as defined by the Project Management Office (PMO). You will actively identify opportunities to enhance processes and define best practices, and will be flexible to undertake any other tasks directed by your line manager in connection with your role.

 

What You Will Bring
• Experience in building strong relationships with an influencing nature, understanding the pressure of a fast-paced working environment.
• Experience with supporting the planning complex schedules of activities.
• Focused on delivering objectives and targets.
• Exceptional organisational skills including managing multiple tasks to deadlines.
• Experience of answering and dealing with queries.
• Excellent customer service skills and good written and verbal communications.
• Strong collaborator, to gain the involvement and engagement of a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and experience of managing multiple priorities within a busy environment.
• Business fluent in English.
