In Short
As the Domain Architect within Enterprise IT, you will be at the forefront of shaping SEFE’s technological landscape. Your primary responsibility is to define and communicate a clear vision and roadmap, guiding our solution architecture initiatives. This involves reviewing and approving proposals and designs put forth by solution architects and other Enterprise Solutions teams, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.

What You Will Do
You will be responsible for effectively mapping out our solution architecture, identifying key existing systems, their dependencies, and integration points, creating comprehensive solution maps. Continually evaluating and recommending new technologies and vendors, you will be aware of emerging trends to keep our organisation at the forefront of innovation.

Mentorship is a crucial element of your role, providing guidance to solution and data architects, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the Enterprise Solutions teams. Collaboration extends beyond your immediate teams, as you engage with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business needs and requirements, ensuring our architectural solutions are finely tuned to meet strategic goals.

Supporting the annual planning of new business cases and the portfolio of change is integral to aligning our initiatives with the strategic roadmap. Post-implementation reviews will be conducted under your guidance to monitor team effectiveness and performance, ensuring continuous improvement.

You will oversee the creation and maintenance of relevant documentation, including architectural designs and technical specifications. This includes implementing and enforcing architecture best practices, processes, and associated tooling in alignment with Group Enterprise Architecture.

Scalability and replicability are key considerations in our approach. You will ensure that the tools, techniques, and approaches designed under your purview can be seamlessly applied across the organisation.

In addition to the technical aspects, you will take a lead role in ensuring compliance with security, data protection, governance, regulatory policies, and standards. Handling sensitive data requires a meticulous approach, and you will ensure the secure handling and protection of sensitive information while adhering to company security protocols.
